The community administration association "Schozach-Bottwartal" is a community administration association (GVV) in the district of Heilbronn in Baden-Württemberg . Members of the association are the town of Beilstein and its neighboring communities Untergruppenbach , Ilsfeld and Abstatt ; the seat of the association is Ilsfeld.
As a result of the municipal reform in 1973, the municipalities of Abstatt, Ilsfeld and Untergruppenbach as well as the city of Beilstein merged by way of a voluntary agreement to form the municipal administration association “Schozach-Bottwartal”.
This municipal administration association takes care of the land use planning for the participating municipalities following prior instructions from the municipalities.
The main body of the association is the association assembly, which consists of the mayors of the member communities and other representatives, of which four representatives are to be sent for Beilstein and Untergruppenbach and three for Abstatt, depending on the number of inhabitants. In 2010, the association's chairman was the mayor of Ilsfeld, Thomas Knödler.
