Georg von Helmolt

Georg Wilhelm von Helmolt (born October 9, 1876 in Römerhof near Frankfurt am Main , † September 11, 1946 in Dortelweil ) was a German lawyer and parliamentarian in the people's state of Hesse .

Life

Georg von Helmolt, who was a Protestant denomination, was the son of the landlord Otto von Helmolt (1849-1896) and his wife Berta, née. Geyger .

He studied law at the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Universität Strasbourg and was active in the Corps Palatia Strasbourg in 1896 . As an inactive , he moved to the Hessian Ludwig University . After the legal traineeship he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD . In 1904 he became a government assessor in Büdingen and in 1907 a lawyer in Friedberg (Hesse) . In the 35th and 36th electoral periods (1911-1918) Georg von Helmolt was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse . In the estates he represented the constituency of Oberhessen 1 / Rodheim-Ober-Rosbach . He was a member of the Hessian farmers' union / rural union.
