Georgi Mladenow ( Bulgarian Георги Младенов ; born December 23, 1976 ) is a former Bulgarian ice hockey player who was five times Bulgarian champion with various clubs .

Career

Little is known about the beginnings of Mladenow's club career. Since the mid-2000s he played for various clubs from Sofia in the Bulgarian ice hockey league . After becoming Bulgarian champion with HK Levski Sofia in 2007 , he moved to Akademik Sofia , where he stayed until 2009. He then moved to HK Slavia Sofia , where he won three championship titles in a row in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and also won the national cup competition in 2010 and 2011 . After these successes went to HK CSKA Sofia . After winning its first championship title in 1986 with ZSKA in 2013 and the first cup victory since 1987, he ended his career.

International

In the junior division, Mladenow played at the U18-C European Championships in 1992 and 1994 and the U20-C World Championship in 1994 .

Mladenow played with the Bulgarian men's national team in 2007 , 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 and 2012 in Division II. He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Vancouver 2010 .
