Gerd Krämer (born November 1, 1957 in Hanau ) is a German politician ( CDU ). Until the end of August 2010 he was State Secretary in the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art . He is of Roman Catholic faith and is married.

Life

After graduating from the Otto Hahn School in Hanau (1976), he studied history and German at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt . From 1985 to 1986 he worked as a research assistant for the Bundestag members Jürgen Echternach and Gunnar Uldall , Hamburg.
