The striker played for VfJ 08 Paderborn from 1955 to 1962 . On August 18, 1962, he made his debut in the Oberliga West , after he moved to Borussia Dortmund in 1962 , in the 11-1 victory of BVB against TSV Marl-Hüls . After eleven missions and two goals, he left Borussia in 1963, who had become German champions that season , and played for Arminia Bielefeld from 1963 to 1967 and again from 1968 to 1972 . In the 1967/68 season he played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga , where he scored nine goals in 32 games. From 1972 to 1976 he played for DJK Gütersloh and in 1976/77 for FC Stukenbrock. Roggensack also became known as the scorer of the winning goal in the game Arminia Bielefeld against FC Schalke 04 in the 1970/71 season . As it turned out later, this game was agreed between the teams involved ( Bundesliga scandal ) in order to prevent a possible relegation of Bielefeld. In the last game of that season, Roggensack also scored 1-0 against Hertha BSC in June 1971 , which triggered the Bundesliga scandal with the following revelations by Horst-Gregorio Canellas .
