Oliver Roggensack (born February 5, 1963 ) is a German soccer coach and former soccer player .

Career

player

Roggensack began his career at Spvg Steinhagen and moved to Arminia Bielefeld in the summer of 1980 . Two years later he moved up to the Arminia amateur team , with whom he was promoted to the Westphalia Association in 1984 . For Bielefeld, he played a game in the 2nd Bundesliga . On October 18, 1986, he came on as a substitute for Andreas Golombek in the 3-1 home defeat of Bielefeld against 1. FC Saarbrücken . In the summer of 1987 he moved to Eintracht Braunschweig for a year and became champions of the Oberliga Nord with the team . He then switched to FC Stukenbrock as a player- coach before ending his career as a player-coach at Spvg Steinhagen after the 1993/94 season.

Trainer

At the age of 25, Roggensack concentrated on his future coaching career and made his A coaching license with the later Bundesliga coaches Mirko Slomka and Michael Skibbe . In the summer of 1994 Roggensack took over the A-youth from Arminia Bielefeld and three years later led the team to promotion to the then first-class Regionalliga West. In 1999 he moved to Hövelhofer SV , with whom he was promoted to the Oberliga Westfalen two years later . He was released in late February 2002. Then Roggensack trained the KSV Hessen Kassel , with which he rose in 2003 in the Oberliga Hessen .

In the summer of 2004 he took over FC Stukenbrock , with whom he was promoted to the Westphalia regional league a year later , before taking over the Westphalian league club SV Lippstadt 08 in 2007 . One day before Christmas Eve , Roggensack was released for failure. Then he returned to FC Stukenbrock and still looked after the lower-class clubs Kastrioti Stukenbrock and FC Dahl-Dörenhagen . In the summer of 2016 he took over the district league team Warburger Sportfreunde and in August 2019 Fortuna Schlangen .

Life

Oliver Roggensack is the son of Gerd Roggensack , who played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga . He lives in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock and has been working for the Bielefeld District Craftsmen's Association since 1982. He is divorced and has a son.
