Gerhard Fitzinger

Gerhard Fitzinger (born April 15, 1947 in Attnang ; † December 30, 2016 in Vöcklabruck ) was an Austrian composer , music teacher and church musician .

Live and act

He studied music pedagogy, choral conducting and composition at the Mozarteum Salzburg , has been teaching piano , French horn and theory at the Landesmusikschule Vöcklabruck since 1974 and has published recordings of his compositions on sound carriers . Since the 1970s he has led and conducted several choirs in the vicinity of Vöcklabruck .

Works

The list of his compositions includes a Te Deum , a symphony , two oratorios , mass , choral works for mixed choir and male choir, chamber music , solo songs, children's songs and piano pieces.
