Gerhard luck

Gerhard Glück (born July 1944 in Bad Vilbel ) is a German cartoonist .

Glück grew up in Frankfurt am Main and studied graphic design and art education in Kassel . From 1972 first cartoons in the Hessische Allgemeine , cover pictures and illustrations for the magazine of the Süddeutsche Zeitung , the manager magazin u. a. Since 1991 his cartoons have been published monthly in NZZ Folio , the magazine of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung , and since 1994 in the satirical magazine Eulenspiegel . Occasionally you can find his illustrations in the weekly newspaper Die Zeit and in the magazine Cicero . His cartoon books are published by Lappan Verlag , which also publishes his picture books and the gift book editions of the poems by Heinz Erhardt , Joachim Ringelnatz and Christian Morgenstern illustrated by Glück . He also illustrates book covers and texts for dtv and other publishers. Gerhard Glück's work has received numerous awards and has been exhibited, most recently in Frankfurt (“Good luck in Frankfurt”, 2006), Zurich (“Gerhard Glück, Art & Co”, 2006), Cologne (“Gerhard Glück”, 2008/09) , Constance ("Gerhard Glück: Art & Co.", 2009/10), Vienna ("Gerhard Glück: A Happiness for Art", 2010/11), SATIRICUM in the Greiz Summer Palace ("Gerhard Glück: Art & Co." , 2011) and in Kassel (Wilhelmshöhe Palace: "Gerhard Glück, Kunst & Co", Caricatura: "Also that still", 2014)
