The Geringsgraben , also known as Langgraben , is a three-kilometer-long, right and western tributary of the Nidda in the Hessian Wetteraukreis .

The Geringsgraben rises at a height of about 150 m above sea level. NHN north of the wind turbines and south of Ober-Erlenbacher-Strasse in the Karben district of Kloppenheim .
It initially flows in an almost easterly direction through farmland, then crosses under the B 3 , then passes the village of Kloppenheim, which has been brutalized underground, and finally flows into Karben at an altitude of about 113 m above sea level. NHN from the west and right into the Nidda approaching from the north .
The approximately 3.3 km long course of the Schellenberger Bach ends approximately 37 meters below its source, so it has a mean bed gradient of approximately 11 ‰.
