Award ceremony

The German 3-cushion Masters 2014 ( GDM for short ) was the second edition of the tournament series in the 3- cushion billiard discipline . The tournament was played immediately after the end of the season. The first tournament took place in Herten from May 31 to June 2, 2013 and was the venue again in 2014.

mode

The GDM 2014 was an invitation tournament for a total of 16 players. Invited were:

1. the best 13 players according to the Bundesliga rankings (1st & 2nd Bundesliga)
2. 1 wildcard player each (WC) - GDM / sponsor / host

In the preliminary round, the game was played on 40 points with a push-button, and from the final round on 50 points without a push-button. The shot clock stood at 50 seconds with the possibility of 2 time-outs per game at 40 points or 3 time-outs for the game at 50 points. The two group winners of the preliminary round made it through to the final round. In the preliminary round it was played on four tables, then only on two tables. All games were broadcast live on the Internet TV station Kozoom .

An entry fee was not charged.

In the preliminary round, the game was played in four groups of four players each, and the first two of the group moved on to the final round (quarter-finals). The grouping was as follows:
