Angelo Neumann, however, noticed her voice, and he had her trained - at his own expense - in Berlin with Bertha Niklas-Kempner and in Dresden with Aglaja Orgeni . She made her debut on September 1, 1900 at the State Theater in Prague as "Amine" in Bellini's Night Walker .

From 1904 to 1912 she was invited to the Bayreuth Festival several times .

From 1912 until the end of her singing career, she worked exclusively as a concert singer and then worked as a singing teacher at the Cologne University of Music .

She was particularly famous for her soprano solo in Mahler's 4th Symphony.
