Ghara ( Nepali घर ; or Ghar ) is a village and a Village Development Committee (VDC) in the Myagdi District .
The VDC Ghara extends over the eastern valley side of the Kali Gandaki southwest of the Annapurna Himal . The place Ghara is at an altitude of 1773 m . The village of Ghorepani (also Ghode Pani ) is located in the area of the VDC with the nearby 3210 m high viewpoint Poon Hill .
Residents
At the 2011 census, Ghara had 2,471 inhabitants (1,085 male and 1,386 female) in 677 households.
