Thermal springs

Tatopani is known for its thermal springs . For a small entrance fee, you can sit in two different warm pools in the main season and enjoy the warm water right next to the Kali Gandaki . Since the warmer pool is very hot (approx. 40 ° C), many people switch to the pool, whose spring water was mixed with cold water. To cool off in between, there are cold water showers. The name of the village comes from the thermal springs: Tato means hot in Nepali and pani water.
