Giannis Ragousis
Giannis Ragousis ( Greek Γιάννης Ραγκούσης , born December 11, 1965 ) is a Greek politician of the PASOK .
Life
Giannis Ragousis studied economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki , after which he obtained a diploma from the University of Sussex .
He held various party offices. From 2002 to 2007 he was mayor of the Cycladic island of Paros until he was first elected to parliament in the 2007 elections . In the government of Prime Minister Giorgos Andrea Papandreou , he was Minister for Interior, Decentralization and E-Government from October 2009 . As Minister of the Interior, Ragousis implemented a major administrative reform ( Kallikratis program ) in 2010 . From June 17, 2011 to November 11, 2011 he was Minister of Transport.
