Ginés Ramón García Beltrán (born October 3, 1961 in Lorca , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Getafe .

Life

Ginés Ramón García Beltrán received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Almería on September 20, 1985 .

On December 3, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Guadix . The Apostolic Nuncio in Spain, Archbishop Renzo Fratini , donated him episcopal ordination on February 27, 2010 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Almería, Adolfo González Montes , and the Bishop Emeritus of Guadix, Juan García-Santacruz Ortiz . On July 13, 2016, he became a member of the Communication Secretariat (today: Dicastery for Communication ) of the Roman Curia .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Getafe on January 3, 2018. The inauguration took place on February 24 of the same year.
