Adolfo González Montes (born November 13, 1946 in Aldeávila ) is Bishop of Almería .
Life
Adolfo González Montes was ordained a priest on June 29, 1972 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Salamanca diocese . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Ávila on May 26, 1997, and he was instituted on May 7 of the same year.
He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Spain and Andorra , Lajos Kada , on July 5 of the same year; Co- consecrators were José Delicado Baeza , Archbishop of Valladolid , and Antonio Cañizares Llovera , Archbishop of Granada .
On April 15, 2002 he was appointed Bishop of Almería .
