Gina Philips

Gina Philips (born May 10, 1970 in Miami Beach , Florida ; born Gina Consolo ) is an American actress and film producer .

Life and accomplishments

Philips graduated from the University of Pennsylvania but dropped out shortly before graduation. She made her debut as an actress in an episode of the television series Our Loud Home from 1992. In the thriller Murdered on July 16 (1993), she played a small supporting role on the side of Ally Walker and Martin Sheen . In the independent musical Rave, Dancing to a Different Beat (1994) she was seen in one of the larger roles, she also took on a larger role in the film drama Time of Probation (1995). She appeared in the television thriller Attack of the Killer Bees (1995) alongside Ryan Phillippe .

In the television-produced crime drama Bella Mafia (1997), Philips starred alongside Vanessa Redgrave , Dennis Farina , Nastassja Kinski , Jennifer Tilly , Illeana Douglas and James Marsden . From 1999 to 2000 she played the role of Sandy Hingle in the television series Ally McBeal . In the horror film Jeepers Creepers (2001) she took on one of the leading roles alongside Justin Long, who played her brother .

In the short film Something More (2003), Philips starred opposite Tony Shalhoub and Jeremy Sisto ; she also worked as a producer. She played the leading role in the comedy Thanks to Gravity (2006), which she produced.
