Gisela Tantau

Gisela Tantau (born March 1, 1933 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .

Life

After studying ballet and attending the state art school, Gisela Tantau took acting lessons. She impersonated her first roles at various theaters in Hamburg. In 1955 she appeared at the Theater im Zimmer in the play The Marquise von Arcis by Carl Sternheim in a production by Helmuth Gmelin . In 1956 she played at the municipal theaters in Gelsenkirchen . In 1959 she had an engagement at the Comedy in Basel . Guest performances took her to the stages of the city of Lübeck from 1960 to 1961 and to the Theater am Hechtplatz in Zurich from 1961 to 1962 .

In 1947 Helmut Käutner discovered Gisela Tantau for his episode film In those days . In this post-war film, Gert Karl Schaefer , Erich Schellow , Franz Schafheitlin , Alice Treff and Hans Nielsen also worked . In 1960 she played the role of Elfriede Rademacher in the Frank Wisbar film Factory of Officers with Helmut Griem , Horst Frank and Carl Lange . On television she was seen in a few episodes of All My Animals , Tatort and The Strange Methods of Franz Josef Wanninger, among others.
