Me and my sons-in-law is a German feature film by Georg Jacoby from 1956 .

action

Fred and Otto are fortunate to have the same mother-in-law. Her name is Agathe Zausel and as resolute and vigorous as she is, she has also harnessed the two of them to her, not exactly well-running, doll factory. Since the young husbands do not want their mother-in-law to take away their entrepreneurship, they like to pursue their hobbies without her noticing anything.

Fred, who is a talented pop composer, has taken a second apartment to design his music, because at home he is not allowed to play the piano because it is too loud. Here he can compose to his heart's content without having to worry about the mother-in-law's angry hand slamming the lid of the piano. Otto also pursues a mysterious passion: thanks to his nocturnal willingness to experiment, he develops a small rocket plane, which, however, breaks a venerable portrait of the company founder and various window panes.

So what could be more natural than that the harmless antics of the two sons-in-law could give rise to the worst suspicions. Even Agathe is drawn into the turbulent events, although she tries to keep her head. At the end of the turbulent entanglements everything is cleared up and nothing stands in the way of the young people's marital happiness.
