Indian Revenge is a German silent adventure film directed by Leo Lasko with Harry Liedtke and Edith Meller in the leading roles.

Edward Astor, son of the extremely wealthy American William Astor, has disappeared without a trace since his return from a trip to India. He had brought a local with him from this trip who has served as his servant ever since. The young Ellinor Glyn, owner of the New York Times, wants to investigate the mysterious matter and pulls out all possible levers to track down Edward. At her side is the bright reporter Bob Dickson. Both can eventually track down the millionaire's son who has fallen into the clutches of an Indian sect. In Byapur they free him from the hands of the high priest of the Kali , who wants to offer Edward as an offering to that goddess.

Production notes

Indian Vengeance was shot in the winter of 1919/20, was censored in April 1920 and was premiered on April 10, 1920 in Berlin's Kurfürstendamm UT. The five-act film was originally 2118 meters long (after cuts approx. 2048 meters) and was banned from young people. In Austria, the strip was only around 1700 meters long.

The film structures were designed by Kurt Richter .
