Giuliana De Sio (born April 2, 1957 in Salerno ) is an Italian actress . She is the sister of the popular singer Teresa De Sio .

Giuliana De Sio was born in Salerno . She had her first public appearance at the age of five in a show at the Verdi Theater in Salerno. Her acting career began in 1976 with the RAI television film Una Donna , directed by Gianni Bongioanni . Subsequently she was cast by Elio Petri for Mani sporche and by Tonino Cervi for Il malato immaginario , where she played the leading role alongside the renowned Italian actor Alberto Sordi .
