Giuliano Frigeni
Giuliano Frigeni PIME (born July 1, 1947 in Bergamo ) is an Italian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Parintins in Brazil.
Life
Giuliano Frigeni joined the religious community of the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions and was ordained a priest on May 10, 1975 . In 1979 his religious community sent him to the mission in Brazil.
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Parintins on January 20, 1999. The Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil, Archbishop Alfio Rapisarda , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Filippo Santoro , auxiliary bishop in São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro , and Luiz Soares Vieira , archbishop of Manaus .
