The Gmina Czerniejewo is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Gnieźnieński of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name ( German Tscherniejewo , later Schwarzenau ) with about 2650 inhabitants.
history
The municipality was formed in 1973/1991, it came in 1999 from the Poznan Voivodeship to the Greater Poland Voivodeship.
geography
The Wrześnica (Wreschnitza) flows through the municipality and its main town. The city of Poznan is about 30 kilometers to the west.
