The Gmina Gorzyce is a rural community in the powiat Wodzisławski of the Silesian Voivodeship in Poland . It has about 21,300 inhabitants. Their seat is the village of the same name ( German Groß Gorschütz ) with about 2500 inhabitants.

The municipality borders the Czech Republic in the south . The Olsa ( Polish Olza, Czech Olše ), which flows into the Oder near Olza, is one of the waters .
