Chałupki (German Annaberg ) is a village of 1697 inhabitants in the rural community ( Gmina ) Krzyżanowice (Kreuzort) in the powiat Raciborski (Ratibor District) in the Polish Voivodeship of Silesia .
geography
It lies on the left bank of the Oder , which forms the border with the Czech Republic here, and is the southernmost Polish town on this river. On the right bank is the old town center Starý Bohumín ( Alt Oderberg ) of the town Bohumín ( Oderberg ), to the southwest, also across the border, the municipality of Šilheřovice ( Schillersdorf ). The neighboring district of the municipality Krzyżanowice is Zabelków ( Zabelkau ; 1936–1945 Schurgersdorf ) to the north .

Chałupki station is the Polish border station on the Kędzierzyn-Koźle line (German: Kosel station in Kandrzin) - Boumín (- Ostrava ), which was completed in 1847 except for the Oder bridge, then from September 1, 1848 as Wilhelmsbahn connected the Prussian with the Austrian railway network and was part of the first rail link between Berlin and Vienna . There is also a stretch from Chałupki east to Rybnik .
