The Gmina Jedwabne [ jɛd'vabnɛ ] is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Łomżyński of the Podlaskie Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the small town of the same name with a little over 1600 inhabitants.
history
The eponymous city became known through the Jedwabne massacre on July 10, 1941.
