The Gmina Markowa is a rural municipality in the Powiat Łańcucki of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . Your seat is the village of the same name with about 4100 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality has an area of 68.5 km², 71 percent of which is used for agriculture and 22 percent for forestry.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Rzeszów Voivodeship .

The rural community is divided into three villages with school boards (sołectwa) : Husów , Markowa and Tarnawka .
