The Gmina Sędziszów [ sɛnˈʥiʃuf ] is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Jędrzejowski of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name with about 6500 inhabitants.

From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was part of the Kielce Voivodeship .

Economy and Transport
One of the largest employers in the Powiat is the boiler manufacturer SEFAKO in Sędziszów.
Long- distance trains on the Warszawa – Kraków railway stop in the main town , and Klimontów is a stopping point for regional transport. The Linia Hutnicza Szerokotorowa runs through town and municipality.
A former stop was Mstyczów on the Kozłów – Koniecpol railway line .
