The Gmina Staszów is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Staszowski of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Poland . The seat of the Powiat and the municipality is the city of the same name with around 15,000 inhabitants.

The municipality is located 50 kilometers southeast of Kielce . The Czarna Staszowska is one of the waters .
history
In 1954 Staszów became the seat of the Powiat . From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Tarnobrzeg Voivodeship .
