The gmina wiejska Gniezno [ ˈgɲɛznɔ ] is an independent rural community in Poland in the Powiat Gniezno in the Greater Poland Voivodeship . Its seat is in the city of Gniezno (German Gnesen ). The rural community, to which the town of Gniezno itself does not belong, has an area of ​​178 km², on which (as of June 30, 2019) 12,077 people live.
