Goffredo Parise

Goffredo Parise (born December 8, 1929 in Vicenza , † August 31, 1986 in Treviso ) was an Italian writer , screenwriter and journalist .

Life

After graduating from high school, Parise moved to Venice with his family . In 1951 his first novel, Il ragazzo morto e le comete, was published. In Milan , where he moved soon after, he worked as a journalist, especially for the Corriere della Sera . In the 1960s he worked as a set designer , among other things for film projects by the directors Bolognini and Fellini . The first part of his most famous book The Alphabet of Emotions was published in 1972, the second in 1982. He traveled to Asia, America and Africa for reports . He spent his last years in Ponte di Piave in the province of Treviso ( Veneto ).
