Golf Cup 1994
The 12th Golf Cup , a soccer competition between the Arab countries bordering the Persian Gulf , took place from November 3rd to 16th, 1994 in Abu Dhabi , the capital of the United Arab Emirates .
A total of seven teams took part. The Iraq was due to the invasion of Kuwait continue to be excluded from participation. The tournament was played in round robin mode , all seven participants played against each other in a group. The winner was Saudi Arabia , whose team won four of their five games and drew once. It was Saudi Arabia's first title win at the tournament. Second place went to the United Arab Emirates, ahead of the third-placed team from Bahrain . All games took place in the Zayed Sports City Stadium .
