The 22nd Golf Cup , a soccer competition between the Arab countries bordering the Persian Gulf , took place from November 13th to 26th, 2014 in Riyadh , Saudi Arabia . A total of eight teams took part.

The following eight teams took part in the final round:

The eight teams were divided into two groups of four teams each. The two group first and second qualified for the next round. Then it was played in the knockout system .

draw

  • The draw took place on August 12, 2014.
  • The eight teams were drawn into two groups. The group head of Group A was Saudi Arabia (as the host) and the head of Group B was the United Arab Emirates (as the defending champion). The remaining six teams were divided according to their position in the FIFA world rankings .
