Goran Košarac (born June 22, 1995 ) is a Bosnian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Goran Košarac starts for Istocno Sarajevo . He has competed internationally since 2011 in cross-country skiing, initially racing here in the Balkan Cup and FIS races . At the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck , he finished 39th in the 10-kilometer classic and missed the final in the freestyle sprint as 38th of the qualification. In the Fiemme Valley he took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 and was 118th in the 15-kilometer freestyle. A few days later Košarac also started at the Balkan Championships in Kruševo , where he was behind Mladen PlakalovićSecond in the 10-kilometer freestyle and won the bronze medals behind Mladen Plakalović and Nemanja Košarac in the 5-kilometer freestyle.

Košarac contested his first international biathlon race as part of the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2013 in Obertilliach , where he was 92nd in the individual and 89th in the sprint race. The following year he took part in the junior races of the 2014 European Biathlon Championships in Nové Město na Moravě and was 72nd in the individual and 64th in the sprint. In 2015 he made his international debut in the male performance category. In Duszniki-Zdrój he was 112 in a sprint in his first race in the IBU Cup . A little later he contested his first international men's championship as part of the 2015 European Biathlon Championships in Otepää . In the individual he came in 98th, in the sprint on 102nd place. The 2015 Biathlon Junior World Championships followed in Minsk , where Košarac was 86th in the individual and 92nd in the sprint.
