Nemanja Košarac (born March 13, 1989 in Sarajevo , SR Bosnia and Herzegovina , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian-Serbian biathlete .
Nemanja Košarac, student from Pale , competes for SK Istočno Sarajevo and is coached by Jevtović. He has been involved in biathlon since 2003 and has been a member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina national team since 2005. That year Košarac also made his debut in the European Junior Cup, in which he now regularly participated. In 2007 he took part in a junior world championship for the first time in Martell . Both in the individual as well as in the pursuit he finished 78th. Also a year later at the Junior World Championships in Ruhpolding he was 78th in the sprint, in the individual he was 66th. Also at the Junior European Championships 2008 in Nové Město na Moravě was the result in the individual with rank 22 best result. In the sprint, the Bosnian was 72. In the summer he started in the junior competitions of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2008 in Haute-Maurienne . In the cross-country competitions he was 23rd in the sprint and 21st in the pursuit, in the roller-ski competitions 40th in the sprint. After a year break, Košarac took part again in 2010 in the Junior World Championships in Torsby , where he was 77th in the sprint and did not finish in the individual.
In the Biathlon World Cup Košarac debuted already in 2007. His first race, one single, he denied in Pokljuka and was 92nd in the Sprint, he soon came to the 90th place, shortly thereafter in Antholz at No. 89. It was also his best ever Results in the world cup. Also in the Biathlon European Cup runs Košarac since 2007. Best result so far here a 32nd place in Osrblie 2009. The highpoint in Košaracs career was taking part in the Biathlon World Championships 2008 in Östersund . There he came 106th in the individual and 110th in the sprint.
