Goschehobel is an Alemannic folk-rock music group from the Kinzig valley. It is named after the Alemannic word for harmonica .

Band history

Goschehobel's first concert took place in Waldkirch in March 1983 without a band name . In the same year, the former kindergarten friends, the trained social worker, play teacher and music therapist Eberhard Jäckle (vocals, guitar) and Urban Huber-Wölfle (vocals, gob planes, guitar) performed in front of 500 guests in the Spiegelzelt at the Freiburg Tent Music Festival . Goschehobel also appears as a trio with Oliver Fabro (guitar, mandolin, bass, percussion) or as a quintet, then additionally with Jonathan Freitag (drums) and Andres Bucholz (electric bass, double bass).

Oliver Fabro is also the producer of the band's CDs and releases them under his label based in Bad Säckingen .

Music genre

The style of music was originally based on models such as Bob Dylan , Neil Young or German-speaking songwriters . In the meantime you can find influences of blues , rock , Latino and reggae in her music . The texts are mostly in Alemannic dialect and sometimes serious, sometimes humorous, poetic, thoughtful, ironic and funny. The singing is for two voices, and individual instruments are added depending on the line-up.
