Gracia-Maria Kaus

Gracia-Maria Kaus (born February 24, 1947 in Berlin ) is a German actress who worked extensively on television in the 1970s and 1980s.

Life

The daughter of the painter Max Kaus had received her artistic training under Hilde Körber at the Reinhardt School and in 1966 began her first permanent engagement at the Wuppertaler Schauspielhaus . Her early stage stations include Bremerhaven , Düsseldorf and Zurich , where she was seen at the theater there. Now freelance and working with piece contracts, she was later seen in Munich at the Kleine Komödie and in Essen .

At the beginning of the 1970s, Gracia-Maria Kaus started working for television and subsequently worked with top directors such as Helmut Käutner , Wolfgang Staudte and Falk Harnack . Her role type was mostly that of the elegant young lady and a representative of the bourgeois upper class - a type that Kaus embodied several times in episodes of popular crime series such as Tatort , Der Kommissar , Der Alte and Derrick . Her then partner Wolfgang Becker mostly directed there . She currently lives in Munich.
