Das Spukschloß von Baskermore (alternative title: Käpt'n Senkstakes Abenteuer - Das Spukschloß von Baskermore ) is a German television comedy with Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff in the leading role of Captain Senkstake. It was first broadcast on March 23, 1974. The production was the second film in the three-part series Captain Senkstakes Adventure . The three films (first film Ay, Ay, Sheriff , third film Honorary Chief of the Watubas ) had no direct context in terms of content and were all broadcast in 1974.

A Scottish North Sea port before the First World War . The Bremen captain Karl Wilhelm Senkstake and his novice Bruno are in a pub involved -Visit of locals in a fight that win the two sailors effortlessly. On the way to the castle, the four travelers are warned by locals of eerie events at Baskermore Castle. But as it turns out, the nightmare is in the form of ghosts from a whiskey -producing bootleggers gang staged that has worked with Polly's father and now is afraid to fly up where the dead his former employees Testament did not consider. The gang also includes the butler Tombstone and the housekeeper Phyllis McIntosh. It also gets turbulent when Maharajah Salaman arrives in Baskermore with his harem and eunuchs .

Trivia

The plot and figure drawing of the series shows a strong resemblance to the comic Captain Knaller , which appeared from 1969 to 1973 in the Federal Republic.

Lore

A VHS edition of “Silwa Video” apparently appeared as early as the 1980s. In 2019 a DVD edition was released by Pidax .
