Graeme fur

Graeme Fell ( Graeme Vincent Fell ; born March 19, 1959 in Romford, now the London Borough of Havering ) is a former Canadian obstacle runner of British origin.

Life

In 1982, starting for England , he won the silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane . The following year he was sixth at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki .

As a Canadian, he then won the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. At the World Cup in 1987 in Rome, he was fifth in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul Elfterund at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland in fourth.

In 1991 he came in 14th place at the World Cup in Tokyo , in 1992 he was eliminated at the Olympic Games in Barcelona , and in 1994 in Victoria he won his third medal at the Commonwealth Games with bronze. After a preliminary round at the 1995 World Cup in Gothenburg, he ended his international career.

In total, he was seven times Canadian champion (1985-1989, 1993, 1995) in the obstacle course. He also had some successes in road running . In 1986 and 1987 he won the Vancouver Sun Run , which he co-founded , and in 1994 he won the California International Marathon .

Graeme Fell started kayaking for the Richmond Club and was trained by Doug Clement. He lives in Vancouver , where he is a primary school teacher and trains teenagers.
