Greater Letaba ( English Greater Letaba Local Municipality ) is a municipality in the Mopani district , Limpopo Province in South Africa . The administrative headquarters are in Modjadjiskloof . Peter Matlou is the mayor.

The local parish is named after the Letaba River that flows through its territory.

In 2011 the community had 212,701 inhabitants. Of these, 98.8% were black and 0.8% white.

The first language was 80.1% Sepedi , 12.5% Xitsonga , 0.9% Afrikaans and 0.8% English.
