Greg Morris

Francis Gregory Alan Morris (born September 27, 1933 in Cleveland , Ohio , † August 27, 1996 in Las Vegas , Nevada ) was an American actor .

Life

Morris began his career in the 1960s as a guest star on various television series including Alfred Hitchcock , Dr. Kildare and Twilight Zone . In 1966 he was cast for the role of Barney Collier in the series Cobra, Take Over , which he played in 168 episodes through 1973. He was nominated three times for the Emmy Award. In the 1970s he played in Mannix and Fantasy Island , among others , before he had a recurring role in the series Vegas from 1978 to 1981 . In 1988 he played his old role again in a guest role in the new edition Mission: Impossible . In the series, his son Phil Morris played his son Grant.

Morris died of cancer in 1996 at the age of 62 .
