Gregory John Matthew Bittman (born March 5, 1961 in Hamilton ) is a Canadian clergyman and Roman Catholic Bishop of Nelson .

Life

Gregory Bittman was ordained a priest on August 15, 1996 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on July 14, 2012 auxiliary bishop in Edmonton and titular bishop of Caltadria . He received his episcopal ordination from the Archbishop of Edmonton, Richard William Smith , on September 3 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Cardinal Thomas Collins , Archbishop of Toronto , and Joseph Neil MacNeil , Old Archbishop of Edmonton.

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Nelson on February 13, 2018 . The inauguration took place on April 25 of the same year.
