Gretchen Anne Rush (born February 7, 1964 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ), during her marriage to Gretchen Magers , is a former American tennis player .

Career

Rush was able to win a total of 3 WTA single titles and 4 WTA double titles in her career. In 1992 she ended her tennis career. In 1988 she was in the final of the mixed doubles at the Wimbledon Championships. She lost this with mixed partner Kelly Jones 1: 6, 6: 7 against the pairing Zina Garrison / Sherwood Stewart .

Personal

Rush married Stephen Magers on December 19, 1986. She is the mother of twin girls (Kathryn Danielle and Morine Christine) who were born on July 25, 1996, and an older son (Matthew).
