The Gribowski G-21 ( Russian Грибовский Г-21 ) was an aircraft of the Soviet aircraft designer Wladislaw Konstantinowitsch Gribowski .
development
The low-wing aircraft with two seats in a closed cockpit was developed from the start as a multi-purpose aircraft and was the first of its kind in the Soviet Union. In addition to being used as a sports and travel machine, it should also be able to be used as a liaison and ambulance aircraft. The aircraft made its maiden flight in 1937 . The cylinders of the radial engine were bare.
The machine was made of wood, with the planking part of the structure. The rear wheel landing gear was rigid, the main landing gear legs covered. At the leading edge of the wing there were automatically working slats , the movement of which was synchronized on both sides by a linkage. Although the machine passed all flight tests with good performance, only one machine was produced, which was later used as a training aircraft .
