Groß-Neusiedl is a locality and, as Großneusiedl, a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Waldenstein in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 68 building areas with 32,431 m² and 22 gardens on 21,781 m² in the cadastral community Großneusiedl , in 1989/1990 there were 69 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 151 and in 2009/2010 there were 92 buildings on 164 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 396 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 106 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 386 hectares and 113 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 381 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 114 hectares. The average soil climate of Großneusiedl is 26 (as of 2010).
