Grünbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Waldenstein municipality in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 34 building areas with 17,061 m² and 24 gardens on 6,059 m² in the cadastral community Grünbach and at the turn of the year 1989/1990 there were also 34 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 101 and in 2009/2010 there were 66 buildings on 108 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 188 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 64 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 181 hectares and 70 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 180 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 69 hectares. Grünbach's average soil climate number is 24.1 (as of 2010).
