Lviv Grand Prix

The Lviv Grand Prix was an automobile racing event that was held four times between 1930 and 1933 by the Małopolski Klub Automobilowy ( Lesser Poland Automobile Club ) in Lviv, then Lviv in the voivodeship of the same name in Poland .

The route traveled was a narrow street course through downtown Lviv, lined with houses, lamp posts and trees. It was peppered with sharp curves, partly paved, slippery surfaces and transitions over tram rails . The most dangerous sections were secured with sandbags . In addition, seven marshals and nine telephones were available to secure the route.

The start-finish straight was on Pełczyńska Street. After about 600 meters, the route made a double right turn onto Świętej Zofii Square, then climbed up Stryjska Street, turned onto Kadecka Street and then went downhill again. After a sharp bend, she turned back onto Pełczyńska Street. The entire route had a length of 3041 m. The difference in altitude was 55 m.
