Großnondorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Sallingberg in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 100 building areas with 46,541 m² and 59 gardens on 20,292 m² in the cadastral community Großnondorf, in 1989/1990 there were 91 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 256 and in 2009/2010 there were 136 buildings on 276 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 478 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 653 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 433 hectares and 690 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 421 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 694 hectares. Großnondorf's average soil climate number is 27.8 (as of 2010).
