Moniholz is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Sallingberg in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 57 building areas with 29,525 m² and 31 gardens on 16,029 m² in the cadastral community of Moniholz , in 1989/1990 there were 49 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 126 and in 2009/2010 there were 72 buildings on 135 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 400 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 200 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 383 hectares and 215 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 373 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 223 hectares. The average soil climate number of Moniholz ​​is 28.6 (as of 2010).
