As Großrinderfeld fields surface a part of the natural environment Tauberlandpark in Baden-Württemberg referred to, the name-giving place in whose territory Großrinderfeld located. The Großrinderfelder area is a natural sub-unit No. 129.42 of the main unit group Neckar- and Tauber-Gäuplatten, one of four subdivision units of the unit Tauberberg (No. 129.4) in the second decimal place. The other subdivision units of the Tauberberg are the Unterbalbach-Röttinger Riedel (No. 129.40), the Messelhausen plateau (No. 129.41) and the Werbach-Böttigheimer Tal (No. 129.43).
